Ticuna Turtle Flute Sculpture 2024
Expressive hand carved sculpture by Jose Eduardo Ramos. Jose made this as a sample for me, one of three; it is phenomenal. It depicts a Ticuna woman playing a flute while sitting on the back of a turtle, one of the Ticuna clans. It is carved of balso and so is lightweight, and extremely detailed. The female figure has chambira accents. In a typical 1:12 dollhouse setting this will be a floor statue.
